Produced by Fiat from 1957 to 1975, the “Nuova 500” became an icon on four wheels, a symbol of “made in Italy”. It was introduced at a very affordable price and intended to increase accessibility to an ever-wider market. It was easy to own, easy to drive, had low operating costs, making it perfect for a market that was slowly gaining affluence. The Fiat 500F is the most recognizable version, thanks to its front-hinged doors, new frame, and wider windscreen.
